Daikin — a Salesforce-to-Intershop replatform with real-time SAP.
Challenge
Daikin's existing Salesforce platform lacked the B2B features and business tooling the business needed at scale. It had no real-time integration with SAP, making customer self-service — reprinting invoices, viewing real-time order status, paying online — impossible. Daikin also needed a digital platform capable of supporting multi-language, multi-currency, and both B2B and B2C storefronts from a single stack.
Solution
DSS replatformed Daikin's digital channel on Intershop with a real-time SAP integration layer and DIAS-driven B2B self-service. We launched a combined B2B + B2C site for Puerto Rico in four months, built rep-assisted ordering tools (account selection, order templates, order history, invoice lookup), and enabled Daikin's business users with Intershop ICM tooling rather than channel-locked admin consoles.
